This medicine contains of two active ingredients, 400 mg of piracetam and 25 mg of cinnarizine. Piracetam belongs to a group of medicines called GABA analogues. This medicine is used to stabilize the amount of oxygen in the brain. It increases concentration of acetylcholine in the central nervous system, protects the brain from hypoxia and facilitates the transfer of information from one hemisphere to another. Cinnarizine belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamine. The problems which this medicine reduces are dizzines, sicknes, and vertigo. These symptoms are usually caused by the disorders of the inner ear which sends movement messages to the brain. You should take Phezam exactly as instructed by your doctor or pharmacist. The dose will be prescribed according to your condition and needs.
Do not use more of it, do not use it more often, or do not use it for a longer time than your doctor instructed. Also, this medicine works best if there is a constant amount in the blood. To help keep this amount constant, do not miss any doses and take the medicine at the same time each day. Do not take two doses together if you miss a dose.
